Okay, so I ended up renting Tony Hawk’s Underground
Which was clearly the right decision, fuck da haterz.
But see, apparently I had some negative karma points that fate decided to spend on me today.
Turns out, the disc was scratched so badly that it wouldn’t even register as a PS2 gamedisc to my system. I have never seen that happen before. Sure, a game might be scratched to a point where the system won’t read it, and the screen defaults to the memory card management screen. But this time, a big red error screen showed up to crush my dreams of grinding some sweet rails, winning the war on skate-terror, and helping the Russians.
Looks like someone is renting Dark Souls tomorrow.
