I just best Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Oh my stars, that was such a good game. The ending was heart wrenching and perfect, too.
I have never been faced with that heavy of a decision in a videogame before, but I think I made the right choice.
I might just have to play the rest, now.
Because of my screenname I often get mistaken for being a huge fan of this series. I’ve never played it so I have no opinion on it. Should I play the first one before this? My dad loves the game and we tend to enjoy the same games so I figured this could be a good one and I know its on sale right now.
I don’t have a frame of reference for the first few games, but I know quite a few people who love the series to death. Honestly, I can see why just by playing the most recent game. The plot hinges heavily on the decisions you make while playing, and it doesn’t coddle you with weak bosses and enemies. I spent over an hour trying over and over to kill at least two of the bosses.
Personally, I love the game’s image of a dystopian cyberpunk future. You the player are left to decide what’s most important on a number of issues, but the main conflict is based on the question of what makes us human?
